Denver, CO (PRWEB) August 27, 2008 -- The American Presidential Experience, a traveling interactive exhibit about the American Presidency, includes one of the original copies of the Declaration of Independence, life-size replicas of the presidential quarters aboard Air Force One and the Oval Office, Harry S. Truman's presidential limousine, a collection of first ladies' gowns, and celebrity book author signings. The American Presidential Experience is part of the events and activities associated with Denver's hosting of the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
"The American Presidential Experience is for everyone. Adults and children will be fascinated and inspired by the power of the American Presidency," said Jim Warlick, owner and executive producer. "Outside of the Smithsonian Museum, the American Presidential Experience is the largest exhibition on the Presidency in the country, and includes a wonderful educational mix of activities while showcasing some of the most important historical moments of America's rich political history. The American Presidential Experience exhibit is managed by owner James Warlick. Warlick has had a love of politics from an early age and has opened 6 political memorabilia stores in Chicago, Boston, Baltimore, Washington, and Georgetown from 1989 to 2008. In 2000, Warlick helped the city of Philadelphia coordinate the first "political fest"-type event for its national convention. Exhibits included an Air Force One replica, first ladies' gowns, a presidential limousine, and a political memorabilia collection. Following 9/11, numerous school trips to Washington, D.C. were canceled. In response, Warlick purchased many of Philadelphia's Political Fest displays, and opened the American Presidential Museum in Branson, Missouri. This exhibit became the foundation for The American Presidential Experience, which began traveling the country in 2006.

Harry S. Truman's Presidential Limousine
President Truman's official 1950 Lincoln limousine is displayed with important historical documentation and photographs.
Oval Office
A full-size replica of the White House Oval Office allows visitors to sit behind the president's desk and sign a bill into law - don't forget your camera.

Visitors can tour a full-scale replica of the fuselage of Air Force One - don't forget your camera.
